Gleave and Duerr's join to raise funds for MedEquip4Kids
Gleave
have always invested in the local community; supporting charities, colleges and
initiatives across Greater Manchester, and this Christmas is no
exception!
Gleave
have supported fellow Manchester company, Duerr’s in their mission to raise
over £10,000 for MedEquip4Kids by donating a selection of tools.
The
donation was auctioned at Druerr’s “Marmalade Masquerade Ball” and helped them
to raise a staggering total of £25,000 for the charity.
Duerr’s
Managing Director, Mark Duerr said: “MedEquip4Kids have wish lists from 24
hospitals around the North West and it was decided that we wanted to raise
£10,700 to buy a neonatal incubator for Wythenshawe Hospital and with your
generous donation, we can now do so and more!”
MedEquip4Kids,
established in 1985, works with medical staff, play therapist, community nurses
and the ambulance service to provide equipment and improve the environment in
hospitals across the North West.
